Meet our Speakers

Damion is the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Talent Programs Leader at Intuit. In Damion’s core role, he has oversight of the strategy, implementation, and execution of the DE&I Talent Programs, ultimately creating more equitable and inclusive talent programs, attracting top diverse talent around the world, and striving to make Intuit the preferred employer of choice for top diverse talent.

Laurent has been active in the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR-AR) ecosystem for now more than 9 years. Laurent is a specialist in the emerging uses of immersive technologies. He runs the Laval Virtual Association, which hosts Laval Virtual Europe, and runs the Laval Virtual Center, an international hub for VR/AR innovations.

Ryan is the co-founder of Event Farm and currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of MemberSuite (Event Farm’s parent company). With over 20+ years of experience as an events producer and experiential technologist, Ryan has helped execute events for some of the world’s largest brands and agencies including Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, and most recently Nike for the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Craig Kaplan is Chief Customer Officer at Virbela, a virtual world platform for remote work, learning, and events. In his role, Kaplan leads sales, marketing and customer operations, overseeing the entire customer journey from branding and messaging, to sales and customer onboarding, to account management and customer success.

Getting to the Event:
1. Enter Virbela. If you don’t have the desktop app, download it now.
2. Choose Your Look. Express yourself! In the Virbela menu, click your name, then Change Avatar. Click on the icons and use the arrows to play with your look. When you’re done, click the lower right-hand button.
3. Teleport to The Auditorium. In the Virbela menu, click Go To and select Campus Locations, then The Speakeasy. Once you arrive, head to the stage to join the fun.
